Re: you have my full attention

There is a diabetic forum on the board that may answer your question about insulin and stress. Whatever, if you're calmer when reprimanding your son, Woo Hoo, huh?

The theory is to eat when you're hungry, but never go longer than 5 hours or so without food. Personally, I am a grazer eater so I do eat every few hours all day long! Just make sure you're having the 20 carbs per day during induction, and that you're not eating too little calories, which will stall your weight loss because your body will think you're starving it. Eat properly for your exercise needs.

How great, to actually be able to say "I'm not even hungry!". You should post a picture over at the Before and Afters, you too will be a success story!

If you're not hungry don't force yourself...but do have a snack after about six hours to keep your metabolism up... a few olives, or a square of cheese is enough.
Induction flu is very normal and is just your body weaning itself off carbs. It should pass quite soon (mine lasted three days) and then, you'll find you suddenly feel great and have masses of energy.
