Well, today is my second day of induction...I'm proud of myself for starting this, but I feel terrible. My head hurts, and I feel fuzzy in my brain- I've heard of people feeling ikky in the beginning, but just thought they were complainers. How long is this likely to last?

Re: new girl
welcome chicago! it's my 2nd day as well and my head is killing me too atm. I have been through this before and it has been my personal experience that after the initial killer headache things get better, tomorrow should be a good day. But of course results may vary from person to person so your headache may last longer or shorter than mine. Don't be afraid to take some advil to help you during this time and try to drink lots of water!
good luck to you!!

Re: new girl
Congratulations on getting started! I think it is generally different for everyone. I only had the "induction flu" for about 6 hours. I was able to take an Alieve and a nap. The advise to drink LOTS of water is great! It will help rid your body of the toxins sooner. Just try to take it easy and I promise it will pass. Hang in there!

Re: new girl
hi there chicago girl!! good to have you on board. i, too, suffer from the induction flu. i have a killer headache my second day and, on the third day, i seem to feel as though i'm tripping on acid. my headache is gone, my cravings are gone, and everything seems very sharp...it's almost as if i can actually see the weight dissolving. anyway, by day 4 i feel very good and strong. hang in there! drink water, take some pain reliever, and relax...there WILL be less of you tomorrow!jen
