    Hi, I am new to this sight. I am almost through with the book and trying to understand carbs, protiens etc. I stumbled on this sight and you all seemed so supportive to one another I thought I could use the help.

    Welcome, I just started again on Atkins a little over a week ago and this site is great, I am sure you will find all the support you need here. Good for you for reading the book

        Hey tequila! Welcome to the board. It's wonderful that you're reading the book, it's such an important tool! Lots and lots of information to wade through on this board, you might want to start in the FAQ's and Induction Forum.

                Welcome Tequilarose! Glad you found us here.
                You're doing a good thing reading the book... it's so important to understand how and why this way of eating works.
                Roam around the board some and see what's on offer... and there is lots! Advice, challenges, recipes, chit chat, health talk....
                Keep us updated as to how you get on. We're all interested in knowing.

                        My first day was great! I got up and cooked breakfast for me and my bf, had some lunch and just finished dinner. Had a lot of water too!!! It's super easy. You just have to tell yourself you're doing it and don't look back. I had a battle with some m'n'm cookies... but THEY lost, not me! Good luck with your day tommorrow. You won't regret it!

                              I think I did really good. It is alot easier at work. I bring my breakfast,lunch and snacks when I get hungry I reach for them instead of junk. Still have to work on the water part.Thanks for checking in on me.
