  • Here goes nothing!

My name's Katie, and I did induction earlier this fall but want to start again after the holidays. It has been the only thing that works for me, at all! It's true, when you are addicted, or you're trying to make a change, doing something in moderation just doesn't work.

My start weight was about 163, I'm now at 150, and I want to be 130. So here it goes...

I have a wonderful exercise partner who is keeping me going with the exercise thing, but the food stuff is hard, especially when no one else is doing it with you! So hopefully being on this forum will help!

Does anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive snacks (besides freakin' hard boiled eggs)? Thanks!

    Katie

Welcome Katie. Snacks, celery and ranch dressing, pieces of cheese microwaved then cooled arelike chips, slice of turkey rolled with cream cheese, BOILED EGGS, haha, lunch meats with mustard, The best i have had was a glass of ice in a mixer with a little splenda and a lil vanilla and heavy cream blended tastes almost like soft serve ice cream. Good luck and any more questions just ask. See ya on the skinny side

Welcome, Katie. Yes, you can do this. That's great that you've found a good exercise buddy -- that helps tremendously, doesn't it?? With only 20 pounds to go, don't be disappointed if it comes off more slowly than you'd like. Especially with the exercise. You're building muscle and changing your body shape. But, you're making great, healthy changes to last a lifetime!

Welcome to the board katie! Have you looked at the recipe forum? Lots of snack food possibilities in there. Here's my suggestion: Nuke some pieces of pepperoni for about 1 minute. They get all crunchy and yummy!
