I am new here. My name is Andrew and I am hoping to lose about 25 pounds. I Currently weigh about 200 lbs and am 5'9". I never had a problem with weight until about a year and a half ago. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The combination of the medications that I take, along with quitting metamphetamine after several years of use have left me much heavier than ever before. My pants size has gone from 32 to 38 or 40 very quickly. I have not been exercising sice the head injury, and I know that this is part of it. The seroquel I take for bipolar is also part of it, as is my tegretol for anti seizure. So I have now started no/low carb diet. Today is day 3 of this. I am hoping to start exercising today as well. I hope this works for me. My wife is certain that it will, but she doesn't have too many facts about this diet. Hopefully you can all help me with this.
