    Hi,

    I'm Laura and I joined here quite awhile ago. I had great intentions, but ended up letting stress take over and not following through.

    I've lost some family members and moved across country (to make a long story short) and just overwhelmed myself with everything.
    At the end of it all, I realize I only feel worse for allowing myself to backslide.
    So no matter how rough it gets this time, I want to keep going.
    The extra weight and health problems certainly do not help during a difficult time, so I just don't know why my brain says it's okay to console oneself with food when down.

    So I'm back.. and I'm going to start looking for some challenges and things to join for motivation.

    I am down a couple of pounds, so yay there. But I need to remember how to fix my signature. I'll go do that.. I'm down to 228 and I've been
    doing induction for three days now.

      Hi Laura! Glad you've decided to come back.

      Most of us have learned to deal with stress by reaching for food. Developing new behaviors (like exercise, coming to ADBB, journaling, and utilizing a support system *ADBB) is important in changing those negative habits into healthy ones. Getting the right attitude about changing the way we think about ourselves is the first step. Glad you've committed to take that first step.

              Thanks everyone! I'm so excited.. I think I've lost a few lbs these past few days!

              I joined the Memorial Day Challenge and I guess I'll report on Thursday.
              I'm trying now to decide if I'll weigh myself on Monday tho. Sometimes that's very motivating for me. Sometimes..
