  • What is fitday?

    I've heard a couple of peple mention it, but I don't know what it is....


    Restart -10/18/2009 - 204.6 lbs (UGH!!!)
    Goal 1 - under 200 - met 10/19/2009
    Goal 2 - 190 - met 10/25/2009
    Goal 3 - 180
    Goal 4 - 170
    Goal 5 - 160
    Goal 6 - 150
    Goal 7 - 140
    Goal 8 - 135
    Goal - To zip up current pants without sucking it in-10/25/09
    Goal - To need a belt/roll waistband of current pants
    Goal - To wear the next size down - 11/13/09
    Goal - To wear the next size down - without a muffin top!! 11/18/09
    Goal - To wear 'those' jeans (ya know - the ones in the back of the closet, hidden under a winter coat)
    Day 13 - wine free/ cheat free

    It's a website where you can create your own account to track the food you eat. It will count up all your carbs and fiber (plus fat, protein, calories, etc.) It's free to register.

      It is really cool i would recommend all newbies to get on the fitday site and track at least until you are familiar with all the low carb foods.

          Fitday is well worth it. It easy and only takes a little to get into the habit of using it.
          Before and after:






          PLEDGING FLIGHTS

            one person that I saw discuss it mentioned it helped her to know if she should add extra olive oil to her dinner.. is there a magical fat % that I should be reaching each day?

              I don't have the Book with me at the moment but if my leaky memory serves me I *believe* the intial fat % is 60-65%....

                Absolutely the best tool (besides this board) for my weight loss program. If you want to see some stuff about it, check out my profile in the link in the signature. Iuse it religously and rely on it to keep my fat/carb/prot ratios correct and my carb count. Check it out!
