  • Hiya Everyone!

Hiya Everyone! Would like to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm a 39 yr. old mother of 3, ages 5-16. I have a very supportive husband, who has never made me feel like I HAD to change. This is for me, I'm being selfish here. This is my 4th day of induction. In 2002 I was on this WOE for 8 months. Did very well, but life threw me a curve. No excuses really, because I let it. I'm hypothyroid, which makes weight loss very difficult. This WOE worked for me. I am extremely excited and ready to move forward on this adventure. I have re-read DANRD, so it feels basically all new again. Have been doing a lot of reading in the forums. This site has some truly wonderful supportive members. I'm looking forward to starting my journey here!

    Induction start 1/10/07

    Weight
    Start 181.5 lbs.
    Final goal 132 lbs.

Will decide on mini goals in the near future.

Rhiannon, welcome to the board! Fantastic that you've re-read the book. Even though you already know what to do, reviewing it brings back drive to stay on track. It's such an important tool. Keep us posted as to your success.

          Re: Hiya Everyone!

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I will be starting a journal when I have finished my first week. My journal will mostly consist of my thoughts, and losses as I go. I still need to do my measuring. I will start that very shortly. I do understand the importance of losing inches along with the pounds. Again, thanks for the welcome. I'm still very excited to move forward and feel great!!
