    Hey everyone!

    My name is Rita and I am from Australia.

    I am 24 years of age & in my final year of university.

    After finishing year 12, I weighed 136lbs. Six years on, I weighed 162lbs.



    In late 2006 after trying so many different diets that didn’t work, I learned of the Atkins diet through a friend & decided to give it a go.

    It was great! I managed to drop my weight back down to 136lbs, and keep if off.



    After such success, I slacked off a bit, and as a result I stoped losing weight.



    So, here I am again, ready to give it another go. I am aiming to lose my final 26lbs, to get me down to my goal weight of 110lbs



    I am hoping this forum will keep me on track & inspire me to keep going till I get to where I want to be!

    All you stories are such inspirations...and really encouraged me to give this another go!

        Hey Rita! Glad you joined us.

        You've done Atkins before so you know it works. It'll work again, for you if you get into the right frame of mind and keep your goal in sight.
        Why not check out the Second Time Around Club (STAC) where there are lots of people who've drifted away and then drifted back again, many to success. Lot's of support and motivation to be had there.

        You might also like jimmie's "No Scale Challenge" which starts on the 21st. Two weeks without that awfully wobbly crutch which is the scales. The link is:
