    Hi,
    I'm staying here in introductions because I have yet to start dieting. My flu is not letting me go. I've had a few more days of peppermint tea, toast, chicken noodle soup and lime sherbert. I've decided to give my belly the weekend to heal (cause everytime i think i've kicked this and eat, i pay for it!), then I'll be starting up.
    I bought lots of chicken breast and lean ground beef, some fish, plus broccli and lettuce and mushrooms (for the chicken), oh and cheddar cheese to cut up in cubes. luckily most of this will wait for my flu to go away. I think i'll get some pork of some kind too.
    this getting ready in my head thing is good. i'll have everything all planned out by the time that i can actually eat again. plus, my stomach will have shrunk, so i can eat smaller portions without suffering. *sigh* well, there's a silver lining in every cloud. till next time.

        I hate being sick. I hope you get better really soon I will save you a spot on the atkins train for when you feel better, LOL See you again soon!

          Hi Lady Lawyer! Hope you're starting to feel a bit better!

          I'm a planner too, I tease that I'm too organized sometimes, but with this WOL it really has helped me stay on top of it all.

          Read all you can read about the plan and how it works, it really helps to keep you focused on it!

            Hi Lady Lawyer! I'm sorry you're still not feeling well! Perhaps you want to start a journal over at Journal Chats rather than starting threads here in spotlight. You can get to know people over there, and then when you're better and start Atkins-ing, you will have all the support you will need! Your groceries are calling out for ya! Feel better really soon.
