    Hello all,
I hope I figured this out right. Anyway, I am a retired police officer (female) who got hurt on the job and after 4 knee surgeries, got retired out, good thing too as I had gained 30 lbs. Shortly after that, my husband died, so I didnt care, and gained another 30lbs. I seemed to have leveled off at 184, but its been 10yrs. I watched my daughter grow, trying to loose weight here and there with minor successes, then evertual regains. I also ride horses and I can tell you that when you are heavy, it is much harder to ride.

So I am trying again, I find Aktins hard, but effective. I miss my sugar, but I know I have to do this.

    Anyway, thanks for listening

Welcome to the board notreadytogiveup! This is a great place to be, and a great way to eat! It may be difficult in the beginning, but as you go along and carbs leave your body, you will not crave them anymore. Also, as you move up the rung, some delicious treats can be had and you still won't miss sugar!
