    Hi,

    I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I've been lurking forever and have made up my mind to go round two on Atkins. I really love the site and I have to say, it's one of the most upbeat places I've seen in a long time.

    I do know the lifestyle works, I lost 40lbs once. I've now gained back that 40 plus 20 more... But I'm determined to lose all of that and then the rest.

    but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

    .................OMG how did I fail AGAIN

    Sigh ... I'll be back... life isn't always fair 10-07-09

      Welcome. Congratulations on getting serious and making the committment to get yourself back on track. You'll find everyone here is very encouraging and wants to help you succeed. Doing it together and having support from people who understand makes the journey so much more enjoyable. This forum is filled with advice, posts on health/life issues, setting and making goals, journals, challenges and motivational forums with photos/stories from others to share their insight.         Welcome! Glad you found us here at ADBB. This place rocks when it comes to support and inspiration. I hope it makes the difference between doing Atkins but then reverting to old eating habits, and doing Atkins but then deciding you can do this for life.

          Welcome! I am in the same boat as you. I half-arsed "Atkins" about 2 1/2 years ago and I also lost a good amount of weight 30 lbs... I kept going back to my old way and gained 50! This time I am commited and honest to this new WE... you can do it to!

                  Welcome to the board, since you have done Atkins before you probably have the ghist of things but should you run into problems or have questions, this is the place to be. Good luck on your weightloss journey!
