Hi, my name is Zalman from Milwaukee, WI. I have successfully used the Atkins way of life in the past, but have unsuccessfully kept of the weight. I was on Induction for way to long, and too impatient and excited to read through the other three levels to lifetime maintenance.
I had a health scare at work in September, and I am currently at 243 lbs. I've gotten back into exercise, and have had no real choice as my blood pressure has been high, along with pre-diabetic tendencies.
I'm sure you'll be shocked to hear that my doctor said, almost all these problems will disappear if you lose the weight.
I do very well in business, and this definitely adds to the pressures I have along taking care of four stunning children and a beautiful wife.
The reality is I know Atkins is the best plan for me. It's realistic, it acknowledges the tragedies of an average daily American diet, especially for those in the workforce (and that definitely includes stay at home mums/dads.)
My negative self talk tells me its a lot of effort, and I have a particular love of coffee, but I know what I have to do.
Be Well,
