  • Trying to comeback!

Hello everyone! My name is Heather and I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I did Atkins back in October 2003 and lost 38 lbs by January 2004. I felt great after that and maintained that weight loss for quite awhile. After several difficult deaths in my family, I fell off the "wagon". I met my fiance in October 2004 and things just went downhill from there lol I gave birth to my son Matthew in November 2005 and was my heaviest, or so I thought, when I delivered. However, I suffered from Post Partum Depression and put another 25 lbs on top of that. I have lost those 25lbs with treatment, but still need to lose more. I am getting married in July and would like to be back down to the weight I was when I was happiest with myself. I also want to be able to play with my son and not feel like there's an elephant sitting on my chest after 5 minutes.

I'm sticking with Atkins again because I felt the best on it and it worked for me. I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and sharing my journey!

      Hi Heather,

Welcome to ADBB - this is the place for motivation and support of all kinds

Sorry to hear about your difficulties, but it's really great that you are getting back on track with this WOL.

I would definately recommend checking out the exercise challenges section. It is great to have some accountability and it will really kick start the weight loss.

      See you around the board.
