  • Hello! Ups & Downs But I Always Come Back

First of all Congratulations! on your successes, everybody.

I lost over 25 Lbs. on Atkins, but then lost my way with exercise. I have a problem with motivation. I see a few different forums for challenges, but am not sure which of the forums would be right for me. I want to exercise just once a day for now until my body gets to the point of needing it. I experienced that before and it was great. I need to get back there. I guess I'm hoping someone please direct me to the right challenge forum. Many thanks for your time in reading my post and advise is much appreciated. Have a great one, everybody!

Hi FoodAddict and welcome to ADBB! Glad you decided to come back to the Atkins way of eating... you've given yourself a wonderful gift by doing so. Also, congrats on wanting to get stuck into regular exercise.

      Happy low carbing!

Welcome, FoodAddict. I think the milage challenge is a very easy one for beginners. All you do is commit to how many miles you want to do... whether that's walking, jogging, bike riding, the elliptical -- or a combination of all of them. Then, you go in each day you exercise and report your milage. It's easy!

              Best of luck to you!

Hiya! I like the mileage one... but if you're just looking to do *something* every day and don't really know how many miles the time equates to, it's kinda hard to calculate out, and then I'd say join up with the 6WEC, I think they're on Week 2, but I'm sure Skyye would let you in if you asked nicely. You just put down how many days a week you're going to exercise, and then report in daily what you did/didn't do... There's also the Bikini/Trunks challenge which is for 3 hours of cardio, 400 situps/crunches a week, and 102oz water a day... you check in with that one daily as well, and then there are weigh-ins each week, and measurements every 5 weeks...

Hello again everyone and thank you for your replies. I feel good and I have a Tony Little's "Gazelle" machine which is like skiing in mid-air and I have an "AB Lounge" too, so I will get busy and get movin'.

You are all great motivators and I will make sure to definitely check-in more often.
