  • what up

Well...this is my 2nd time around...

Loved the first time but life got so busy that it was easy to forget about this WOE.

I originally lost 60# and slowly gained back 1/2 of it in the last 18 months...
my wakeup call was last summer when I turned 30 and was diagnosed w/ HTN...at age 30 condemned to a life of pills...well no more Sir!

I am going to beat this. It has not happened yet, but it will happen.

I have started to be more active and realized that I have a long way to go.

Thanks for some truly inspirational individuals on this site and thanks for the tons of information available.

Welcome to ADBB BigGrizz! Glad you decided to re-commit to Atkins along with us. Sounds like you're really motivated and focusing on your goal. Well done! That's terrifically important.

You might like to take a peek into the Second Time Around forum where you'll find lots of nice people, good advice and support from others who've fallen by the wayside once, twice or more. Many have gone on to reach goal... and that's what I wish for you.

      Happy losing!

        Hey BigGizz,

Come on over to the Second Time Around Forum and introduce yourself. Lots of great people there too. Folks who have maybe strayed (okay....yes, I'm there...haha) but have made it back. Good Job on trying to catch it before you put all your weight back on. You might find induction a bit harder this second time around, but give it the full two weeks and you'll be happy with the results.
I start last Monday today is day 9 and I've lost 9 pounds so far (out of the 14 I put back on) and it's getting easier every day. So anyway, check us out, good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

HTN is hypertension or high blood pressure...common for those of us that are on the husky side--
