  • Another new starter

I've been on through the induction phase and my son showed me the site. I don't think I did well on the induction, but lost enough inches that I look like I wear clown pants. Sure wish I had taken measurements before hand, I was just expecting to use the scales.
I'm going to try an extended induction to make sure I get it right.
I can't get enough water, but still think about soda once in a while. I excerise 5 times a week (3 cardio, 2 strength) and goof around on the weekend. Once spring is here I'll be able to take bike rides again. I have so far to go, but it was a long trip to get where I am now too.

Hey depmeister! Extended induction is fine. Just don't get stuck there! Believe it or not, moving up the rungs does help you to continue losing weight! The first rung is veggies, and that's only adding in an additional 5 carbs per day.

Welcome to the board, I look forward to seeing you around.

Good Day! Great To Have You!

Don't be afraid of OWL. They got it right, you're only adding 5 carbs but such a huge variety of veggies. Rediscover them. Myself....I used to shiver at Aspargus, now....I can't get enough of it. I can't wait to try spaghetti squash and all kinds of new treats! Good Luck!

I tried spaghetti squash for the first time last night. It was fabulous! I loved it! Very tasty!
