    I lost so much weight on the Atkins WOL before I left for college and looked and felt great...Then I got pregnant. Now I'm trying to lose weight again and feel good. I'm trying to really try to lose some in two weeks so when I go out for my birthday I'll look and feel good. I also ahve a boyfriend now and I want this relationship to work out good. He thinks I'm gorgeous, but I don't feel that way about myself. I need to feel good. Hence why I am doing this again! I needed to get myself back on track. In the past three days I've lost 6 pounds (water weight, I know.) and I feel good, so far. Today was my first day at the gym and did 60 minutes of cardio. I feel great for not being at a gym in two and a half years! I need to look good for my bf and be healthy for my daughter.

    hi fishies!
    well...we are in sort of the same boat. i am gaining a new hubby june 30. i did lose lots before, met him, was HAPPY and regained about half of it back. and yes he loves me the way i am but I will feel much happier and healthier and shall we admit (YES SEXIER) when i drop some of these unwanted pounds...figure out today that if i lose about 2 pounds a week i can make my goal by the wedding.

    so welcome back...i am SO GLAD to see that you are doing this for you....in my opinion i think that is terribly important...when you are happy and healthy you are even better for those in your life~

      Welcome Fishies! Nice to have you aboard.
      Sounds like you have good incentive and are very motivated. Congrats on your six pounds lost so far, and on re-starting up at the gym!

        Cool name. haha. Welcome to the board! I think it is awesome that you are doing this for others, however, remember, you are also doing it for YOU! you are special, and you need to remember that about yourself. Anyone can tell you that you need to lose weight, or not lose weight, but YOU have the final say!

            I am doing it for me, but I think the most important thing is that I'm doing it for my daughter so I will be healthy and will be able to run aorund with her and play with her. I have athsma, and my weight aggravates that as well. I love my daughter and I want to be able to do everything for her.
