    Actually, I hate tomatos, especially raw! I can eat them cooked in sauces and juices, but the texture of tomatos gag me for some reason. You would think that living in the south, that I would love them. I will go through the vegetable isle today and pick up some new stuff to try out.

    You don't think the 2-3 v8's I drank will mess up my induction do you?

      Nah, just keep going. This is just an 'adjustment'. Kind of like learning to drive, you veer off too far to the right or left...you just correct and get back between the lines and keep going forward.

                Try a cup of mushrooms, sauteed in a tablespoon of butter, and sprinkle a touch (carbs in spices) italian seasoning.

                  Well, it's almost 8pm and I feel ok tonight. I keep waiting for the sick feeling and my head feels a little funny, but I think I am going to be ok.

                  I am getting a little bored with the water. Any drink suggestions?

                    64 ounces minimum of pure water. No substitutes, sorry. Actually, it's recommended that you divide your weight in half and that is how much water you should be drinking. Only after that can you have some other splenda or saccharine or Acesulfate potassium sweetened beverage.

                        No, throughout the entire diet.

                        I drink at MINIMUM 125 ounces of water per day.

                          I thought someone on here said that some diet drinks were ok if sweetened with splenda?
                          This doesn't sound too good for me, as I am craving soft drinks really badly. I can deal with no caffeine, but I have been sluggish the past 3 days.

                          Today is the best I have felt, but I do feel a little sick or a mild headache from time to time.

                            That's what is called induction flu. Basically, it's withdrawal symptoms. Stick through them and they'll go away in a couple days. The things you crave are your "addictions" if you can outlast them the cravings will go away and those things won't have control over you anymore.

                            The diet drinks ARE okay if sweetened with Splenda but ONLY IN ADDITION to your water requirements, not in place of. So, if you want to have a diet beverage with say, dinner and you still get in your daily water, then go for it.

                              .....and remember each one is a serving of sweetener, which you are allowed no more than 3 per day of, in any food or drink.
