  • Hi- I'm new!

Hi all fellow Atkins followers! I jsut started induction this morning and am so excited to finally have a grasp on my eating habits. I know what you are thinking..."She has jsut started." But I know I can do this since we always go out to eat after church and I always eat something carby...ALWAYS.

But today I had steak and eggs and black coffee. If I can avoid the junk on a Sunday after church then I know I can do it every single day!

A little about me, I am a work at home mom to 3 kids, ages 13, 11, and 9. I am a project manager, graphic deisigner and marketer for a company that designs and distributes e-newsletters and website for the green industry(garden centers, etc.) I love my job but since I have started working from home I have really let myself go and really want to get my self in shape! I am a beaded jewelry deisgner and also love to paint, draw and read.

I look forward to getting to know some great people here.
    Angie

          Thanks for the welcome!

I am actually not new to the Atkins WOE, I followed Atkins in 2002 and lost 60 pounds. I have gained back 25 of that. So all in all I know it is not all steak and eggs but truth be told I am not huge veggie fan, never have been. I did have a huige salad for dinner last night and will eat them from time to time, brocolli and cauliflower are about the only other veggies I will eat. I have veggie moods LOL.
