  • back on the wagon...eek!

Hi everyone. I was doing Atkins for several months but fell of the wagon since Christmas I feel very bad about that, because I should have reached my goal by now.

I'm jumping back on but it's hard...but I'll do it. My maximum weight was 182, and I'm too scared to check my weight but I'm guessing I am at 160-165 right now (I can tell from my chin fat ).

Time for induction and re-reading my Atkins books! Plus I need someone to kick my butt if I mess up again.

Lisa. You and I both!!! Holidays, don't you love em, just don't love us sometimes. I restarted about a month ago, and found induction a little more difficult, but with the help and guidance of the Second Time Around Club, was able to lose the 14 pounds + 2 more. Headed back in the right direction. At least you caught it before it was total disaster!!

Anyhoo, come on over to the Second Time Around Club, check in each morning and gives us a howdy and discuss goals and plans for success for the day! Glad you got your book out too!!

Don't forget your water and exercise. Happy 2nd day of Spring, see you gave your self a spring present!

    Woo Hoo!

Hi Lisa. Congrats for jumping back into action. We're here for you!

Theres a great 20/24 challenge going on to help you ease back into the exercise routine. Don't look back at the holidays, instead plan for the holidays that you'll face this year and make plans to keep yourself on track in 2007.

You can do it - we don't want to kick you, instead we'll pat your back and help you celebrate as you succeed! Best wishes!

Hiya Lisa Rose and welcome back to the Atkins wagon, and welcome to the board! Glad you decided to re-commit to this way of eating.

Double chin fat, you say? Well... there's a funny Double Chin Challenge you could join if you like! (Oh, we have the oddest challenges...) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...chin+challenge We kinda poke our chins... hilarious!

Re your fall from the wagon...well, the holidays bring many of us down... the important thing is you got up again. Keep focused on the prize and you'll reach goal, I'm sure.

Scooter, Sally and dreamof145, thank you! I feel more motivated having Atkins friends

I checked my weight this morning, and I am lower than I guessed, 158.8! I'll consider 159 as my starting weight. I'm going to set an initial goal of 150 (then 140 after 150 is achieved).
