  • let the madness.. begin!

well, there are so many new people here, so i am not sure how many will remember me. i'd like to think i am unforgettable, haha, but you never know.

for those of you who don't know me. i have an off the wall sense of humor. most of what i say is only 10% serious (when referring to myself) the other 90% is fluff.

i have been on and off this WOL for far too long and i know deep down it's what works, but i am an aries, therefore very stubborn, and refuse to accept that i can't eat cake, pizza, chips and ice cream without gaining weight!

so, here i am again. i just had a baby girl in june of 06 and granted lost all that weight, but i am back where i originally started when i first joined.

i am going to give 110% to this WOL and have made a promise to myself that there are no more excuses and no way out. THIS IS IT and i am not getting any younger.

to all of you who remember me, it's good to be back.. to all the newcomers,

    from the metal god himself..

      Hi Magenta!

Go for it this time, it is worth it. Wish I would miss chips and icecream - I am starving for some fruit and vegetables.

      Anyhow: We can make it!

                  Re: let the madness.. begin!

thank you everyone! you guys are all so great and supportive and positive. well i could just gush and gush, but it's way too early for that!

                  yesterday went really well.

now get this.. sunday was my birthday and i just happen to purchase a stone cold creamery dark chocolate raspberry cake, oh my god, i won't even describe how great it was. but last night that cake was calling me and calling me and i tell you i almost gave in. after doing wonderful all day. and just when i had convinced myself that one little sliver wouldn't KILL ME, i remembered what i had written here and said g, i call myself g, i said g.. you don't need it and that one sliver will hurt and do you want to go back to the board already admitting defeat after one day? so instead i went and got some water and exercised. YES, i did!

needless to say i was so proud of me and you know what, after about 15 minutes the temptation really did go away! i read that somewhere, that if you give a craving some time, it tends to go away. well that and a fiber pill. HAHA

                  take care everyone.
