  • 1 week in

Well, I started last monday. It's been kind of hard the first week but I've stuck to it. So many times I just wanted to eat what I wanted but I just didn't give in to the temptations. I've only lost 5lbs my first week but at least it's something. I've been eating a lot of eggs and chicken.. I'm always looking for new ideas because I'm pretty sure what I'm eating is gonna get boring.. so any ideas are welcome..

I think I'm going to start exercising more in increase my weightloss. I want to lose and I want to lose fast but I'm trying to be realistic.

Thanks to all that helped me make the decision to start this. I'm on my way to the body I want.

    * I don't really know what board to post on.... hope this one is okay*

Hi chaoticlove82! 5 pounds is very good for your first week. Congratulations on the loss and for not giving in to your temptations. If you haven't got the book, I'd totally recommend getting it. There is a forum on induction here with a list of the acceptable foods...and there are so many that your meals never need to be boring. I use all kinds of spices and new recipes. Are you eating veggies? Drink lots of water too - it helps fill you up and keeps you regular and helps your skin in better condition.

Exercise is also a great way to keep you feeling good and it is essential in the program. It sounds like you are off to a great start. Jump into the forums, get active with posting and making friends, read all the motivational stories/photos, and make plans to succeed. You can make it happen. We are all here for you! Best wishes!

I've printed the induction allowed foods and I'm drinking a lot more water than I used to. I don't eat many veggies yet, just celery and baby carrots so far. Oh and some asparagus, my favorite (only cooked veggie I like). I can't stand cooked veggies. I'm a bit picky in the things that I eat. I went to a site with recipes that I found on someones post here on the forums and that has given me some good ideas.

Thanks for being there and supporting me!!

Hi Chaotic! Welcome to the board. You will find, as you quickly get bored with plain foods, that you can really gussie them up to make delicious, legal meals. I see you've already seen the links Scooter gave you, we all love those sites!
