  • New to the Boards Not new to Atkins

Hi everyone, I'm Greg from Connecticut I'm 38 and I am finally focused. I read and reread the book and I am confidentthat I am on my way. I have 3 wonderful kids and they need me to stick around a while. I started atkins in 2005 and lost 45 lbs in 5 months then like many I put it all back on plus 25....not so good!

On February 1st it was a milestone of sorts for me. I hit 301 pounds .....a weight I never thought i could get to...but I did ..So that day I restarted atkins and since have lost 31 pounds. Only 70 to go to my goal. I was browsing and found this site. It seems i have plenty to learn from all of you. I need all the help and support I can get in learning my new lifestyle. Pictures and journals are to follow ( as soon as i figure out how to do it)

Thank all of You Greg in Conecticut

Hi Greg! Welcome to our family. You'll find all kinds of support here from others who want to see you succeed. Get active in the forums, check out the journals, recipes, challenges (theres a 20/24 one for getting you motivated to start an exercise routine) and read all the motivational stories (loser's lounge - main Atkins forum) and the inspiring photos.

You did so well the first time, write out what made you quit doing the program before and make plans to avoid letting those obstacles get in your way again. We're here for you....if you need help, just holler. Best wishes!
      Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F
