I have to tell myself that I can post this even though I'm a little embarassed
My name is Stacey...I'm 35 and I started Atkins in January of 2005 and lost about 30 pounds then I switched to a low calorie/low fat diet and lost about 75 more pounds which got me to 140 and although I didn't think so at the time, I was happy there. I yoyoed a little (5-10) pounds during that TOM but it was ok, it came right back off...even kept it there for about a year until this winter. I have no idea what happened but I slipped big time and starting with Thanksgiving until now I have been eating whatever I want and gained back 42 of the 105 I orignially lost. I know that I have a HUGE addiction to carbs and just need to cut the bad stuff out completely to get where I need to be and stay there.
So, here I am today...embarassed and motivated and writing this because I'm hoping that it helps keep me on track. (To say it out loud so others can read it lol
)
So, once again...Atkins here I come! This time to stay. What better time to start than with a million eggs and pounds of ham leftover from Easter, right?
Thanks so much for listening, I look forward to being active in this community again...you have always been so motivating!
Hugs,
Stacey

Don't feel ashamed of what you have experienced as far as the gaining goes. We all have our struggles!!!! And, the cool thing is that you are being honest with yourself about your eating choices. You can do it again and get back to your low weight. I unerstand how you feel, though. Read my stats and you'll see what I mean. We all stumble in this life. Like the ol' song says, "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again!"

One day at at time...today I will do what I need to do to reach my goal.
