  • Hi All... :)

    I have been a lurker for quite some time now but decided to go full force! I am ready for a life change and I know I cannot do it alone! You are all such an inspiration to me! I started it 2 weeks ago and lost about 10 pounds already... I just need help with excersise and learning things that work!! Anyways... just want to say hey and I cant wait to get to know all of you!

    And ofcourse... ANY suggestions please let me know! (also I am always looking for someone in the area to work out with is any is close by in jersey??)

    Welcome, Fallenwing! I'm glad you decided to join us. You are going to LOVE us here. There's also a women's board if you are interested. We talk about anything and everything.

      Welcome and Congrats on the 10 pound loss. Make sure you take your measurements as it is even more exciting to see the inches dropping off as well as the weight.

      Get involved in the forums, journal, recipes, and challenges. Keeping busy and making friends will keep you motivated! Post often and let us know how you are doing. We're so glad you've joined us!!

            You've found great support here...I'm fairly new and just LOVE it
            Be sure to visit the Exercise forums and join the challenges...I had issues with getting motivated to exercise and those have helped me TONS!!
            Looking forward to hearing how you are doing

                  Congratulations on the 10lbs! That's fantastic!

                  I'm in jersey.. but a lot south of you... There's a 5k at Sandy Beach to raise money to save a lighthouse... It was too far away for me to join, but it would be fun.... Oh, and there's something in Matawan too...

                  I agree completely with what they said about the exercise challenges, they're fantastic. And starting a Journal really makes me more accountable for things.

                    Congrats on the weight loss! Do you have any exercise equipment, or a gym near by? If not walking is a very effective exercise.

                    Keep drinking a lot of water and keep an eye on how your clothes fit. I get just as exited to see my jean get baggy as I do to see the scale move.
