  • Back to Atkins for good - hello!

My name is Jen and I have three children and a lovely 20 or so lbs to lose after my last child's birth

I am new to this board but not new to Atkins. I previously lost weight on Atkins in the fall of 2003 - it was so wonderful and so much easier than following a low fat diet - blech! I had my third daughter in October of 2004 and have tried several times to get started again, only to give up during times of stress or what have you. This time, I'm committed. My daughters are all sleeping through the night, so I don't have that sleep deprivation carb craving thing going on and I want to be fit, healthy and thin more than I want cookies, cakes or bread.

I started induction on Easter Sunday and not even baskets of Easter chocolate have been tempting. The only thing tempting me right now is the delicious strawberries my girls have been scarfing down Looking forward to hanging out here and sharing my journey with you all!

There are some really great people and I have drawn a lot of enthusiasm and motivation from them. Hope to see you over there.
