  • I will do it this time.

    Hi, I was on Atkins a long time ago, and did great, but did not stick with it, and gained back all of my weight plus 10 pounds. I am very ashamed, because I was almost at goal, and let myself get back to where I was. I have been wanting to comeback, but felt embarrassed, so I made a new screen name. I am motivated and willing to do what I need to in order to live a healthier life. I am tired of living this way.
    If you get off track, remember that every day is a fresh start.

    Restarted Atkins 7/7/08
    Female SW 240.8

    Week 2 - 230.6 (10.2 lb loss)
    Week 4 - 223.4 (17.4 lb loss)

    Dont beat yourself up over it, just start from the beginning and I am sure you will do just fine. Keep chekcing the Second time around club, there are quite a few people that are traveling the same road.

      Welcome back SuzyQ! No need to feel embarrassed about re-starting. You're giving yourself two wonderful gifts: better health and a trimmer figure.

      Why not check in to the Second Time Around Club, where everyone's taken at least one fall from the Atkins wagon. There's lots of support and good advice to be had there.

      Keep posting. YOu can do this!

        Hi. Welcome back! The best thing to do is to jump in, make friends, join the challenges, forums and get involved with others who are making it happen. Don't look back or compare your progress with anyone...you are unique. We are all here for you! Make a plan to succeed! You can do it! Keep us updated on your progress!!

              Don't be embarrassed! I too, have had a gain if you read my stats. We are here for each other!!! Glad you are here.

              Gained back 22 pounds and dealing with it...instead of it dealing with me!!

                SuzyQ - welcome back....what is important is that you have restarted your journey to being healthier and losing the weight you want to lose.....you can do it...you know that already so that's a given.....just remember that once we make life changes we must change the way we think, act, and react to practically everything......make giving up/in "a no option" for you!!!

                  Welcome to the program, I just started four days ago and it does not do anyone any good to beat yourself up. The past is behind you, focus on your slimmer self in front of you!
