Hello everyone. Well let me get started by telling you a little about myself. I am a 31 year old man, 5' 10", 252 lbs. I started out on January 1 of this year on a diet at that time I weighed 270 lbs. I started out and quit tobacco and went on a cyclical ketogenic diet along with lifting weights. The CKD diet is a really good diet if your really active or an athlete. I did pretty good on that diet lost 18 pounds and a ton of inches, but due to how the diet is set up I just could not control myself. CKD diets are like induction on atkins all week with a 24-48 hour carb-up on the weekend. Anyway after the weekend carb-up I would spend the rest of the week losing what I had gained on the weekend anywhere from 10-15 pounds, most was water weight. I was also having a really hard time getting back into ketosis.
Well I have continued the diet and workouts until this week. I have now switched over to Atkins and will continue my weight lifting. Lifting is my escape and stress reliever. Plus I have made some great progress in my lifting.
Well thats about it for now, glad to be here.
