I realized it was probably kind of rude of me not to introduce myself before I started posting, but I was hesitant at first anyway. So, here I am! My name is Kat, I'm 26, and I'm really trying to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle with Atkins. I have a 20 month old daughter and a skinny husband who is trying to gain weight. =/ (Think he can gain weight on Atkins?)
I tried Atkins a couple times in the past, but never managed to stick with it. I started Atkins this time at the end of February but I kinda messed up a little here and there and recently started induction again for two weeks, which ends Friday! So far, so good. My start weight (In Feb.) was 130, and so far I've lost 9lbs. I'm between 5'3 and 5'4. I realize I don't have too much weight to lose, but I'd like to get to my pre-pregnancy weight of 115 at least. Also, I've had long-term problems with depression and terrible and frequent mood swings, but I have noticed some improvement since I've been on Atkins, which is really great news!
I really, really appreciate all of your support and enthusiasm so far. I hope that maybe I, too, can contribute at least a little.
