  • I'm new!

Hi....I'm new to this forum and I'm SO glad I found it. Today is my third day on Atkins..so I'm doing my third day of induction. I am in serious need of support! It is SO hard. I love pasta, rice and bread so much and not being able to have them is super hard. I am in the middle of the "induction flu"....I am shaky, dizzy, nauseous and have actually been losing my appetite altogether today. So far I've stuck to the rules of induction completely.....so we'll see what happens! It's great to have found this forum though!

Welcome Erin! So happy to have you join us. This is the best place to get motivated and have numerous friends to help you create your new low-carb life-style. You don't have to feel deprived of pasta, pizza, rice or bread - just check out the substitution forum and find ways to make your meals low-carb. I was also a big pasta eater and bread. But, I'm completely satisfied with my meals and don't feel a bit deprived.

Theres lots of support here with the forums on life/health, challenges, journals and recipes. Make friends, join the fun and watch yourself shrink to goal. Keep us posted on your progress!

Hang in there girly!!!! Keep yourself full of all the leagal stuff you can get your hands on! That was key for me (and is now as I am on my 2nd time around). That and singing the Christina Aguilara song "survivor" in my head....
