hello! my name's michelle. i've been peeping around these boards trying to decide if i should give this a go and well, here i am on day 1. giving up carbs is going to be quite a challenge but it's about the only thing i haven't tried. my highest weight has been 250 and over the course of a few years managed to pull that down significantly. i was at 168 in november but had an emotional meltdown with the death of my grandma and gained 12 lbs back. today i'm starting at 180 and am hoping to at least lose the 12 lbs i gained within the next 4 weeks. i'm in a long distance relationship so this will be the first time my bf sees me since the weight gain. i plan on posting pictures, so please get on me if i slack w/the picture posting. i just have to figure how things work around here.
