  • Hello From The UK

Hello everyone my name is Janine and I am 25 from West Yorkshire, UK.
I am 5'2 and currently weigh 125lbs, I am wanting to get back to my "natural" weight of 110-112lbs which is what I was before I had some periods of illness which made me inactive and I also comfort ate. My weight actually went up to 154lbs which, on my tiny frame, was very heavy. I used to be very athletic and I want to get back to that as I am entered to run the Barcelona Marathon on 2nd March 2008

I have done Atkins once before and lost weight successfully, but always failed to maintain it due to my excessive alcohol (mainly beer) consumption. Wow I am making myself sound like an alcoholic I am not I have now given up alcohol and ready to change my way of eating and hopefully get in peak fitness for March 2008.

    I also have MS.
    I like to party

                Welcome Janine!

I'm just starting Atkins too - it sounds like you are someone who would definitely know what exercise routine to keep one losing weight. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm 26, a light exerciser, and am 150/5'2"... I WANT to be athletic, just am not sure how to get there! What's your exercise plan for induction/training for a marathon?
