  • New to boards and atkins

    :wave
Hi Finally got up the courage to attempt to post to these boards, hope I get it right.
I'm new here and anxious to get started. My goal is to lose 30 lbs and incorporate a new and healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.
I'm having a little trouble navigating the boards but hope to get the hang of it soon
I'm a 49 y/o female living in NYC and working for NYPD, exercise regularly and not in terrible shape but want to get back to what I feel I should be!
    Thanks for this great site

Welcome to ADBB and our virtual family!

I might suggest visiting the Induction and FAQ's forums first, where a lot of people are going or have asked the same questions that might be running through your head. (and perhaps some you haven't even though of yet) I am sure you will find the support you need and will come to feel this board is your place to recharge is your weight loss journey.

Again really glad to have you here.

Thanks for your reply, and yes I do have a copy of DANDR and have begun reading it. Also your advice about taking measurements is a good tip.
I have to say that when I see the replies to my post it already feels like I have begun to have a great support network.
              This board is great!

              Have a beautiful day!
