  • Hey folks! another 2nd timer

    Hey folks, looks like I got alot of company, I see alot of 2nd timers posting here! It's been 4 yrs since I started induction last, I lost about 15lbs and stalled, then gave in to the almighty GRAVY gods! Well dang it, I throwed out all my flour and I'm ready to get in shape! I'm M 5'6" weight around 206lbs. DOC says I should be around 160, HAH! when I was in the best shape of my life in my 20's/Army days I was 165. And at 41 I'm thinkin' 170lbs is more like it. Anyways, this WOE is for me 'cause I LOVE MEAT, whether it walks, crawls, swims or flies! farm raised, wild game, roadkill or any combo of the three! I also love green leafy veggies. Well, gotta go pick up my old dog ear'd copy of DANDR and brush up!

    Welcome aboard! I too am a 2nd time arounder...and you are right, there seems to be lots of us here.

    This time though its for life for me. Hey why not head over to the STAC forum and say hi to everyone there. We are all in the very same place over there...some third and fourth time around...hee hee.

    I'm sure as you know you will find tons of support and friends here to help you on your way achieving your goal.

      Hi Jim...2nd time is a charm. Much luck to you in your second journey. This is my second time as well and it is working out great. Don't get me wrong I have those days when I crave my cookies but those days I reach for my low carb balance bars

          welcome aboard, im ex army too, AND im 5'6 like you. i started out heavier at 242 and now im at 167. my army weight limit is 168 but im going for 160.

            Welcome back to Atkins and to the board! So happy you decided to re-commit!
            Why not check out the Second Time Around Forum, where everyone has fallen off the wagon and then returned at least once. Lots of support to be had there.

            Post lots and keep us updated as to your progress... we're with you all the way.
