    Haha, hey guys!
I guess this is my introduction. So I've got BIG things happening and I thought - what better than to start my new career and new move with a new body, right? I don't have much to lose - probably 10 pounds, but who doesn't want to feel their BEST right? Well I DO!! So, in a nutshell...I'll try to wrap this up.

I've danced all my life - was always fit, could eat whatever I wanted. Went to college, danced a little less and gained some weight. My parents dropped 90 pounds total on Atkins and that's how I lost my freshman lbs. College is over, I naturally lost some weight but I'm not at my best, NOR am I dancing anymore. I try to run and lift weights when I can but dancing is my passion...

SO FOLKS..I'm moving to the city, just got a job with MTV and it's only a few short blocks from Broadway Dance Center so not only will I be walking a ton more, but I'll be dancing a bunch too, yay!!

However, it's summer time and I'm not feeling comfortable to walk around in my bikini on the beach. I can get SO insecure with just a few silly pounds but who doesn't - right?

Anyway....today was my first day on Atkins again. I want to keep it up, my problem is being consistent. In the winter I was content with being on atkins for 2 weeks, then taking a weekend to endulge - then hop back on. It was my sleazy way of maintaining - and I certainly did. But I'm done being "content"...I'm ready to be at my best...

    ok wish me luck!!
I"m about 5'5 at 135 pounds and want to be 125...

Re: Back at it again...round 523409.

Thank you!! I'm very very excited...you know what's funny? Yesturday I ran/walked 4 miles on a nearby track and this morning I'm sore - but I can also SEE a difference. I'm trying to prepare myself for all the walking I'll be doing in the city. I haven't worked out in a long time, I don't want to walk from point A to point B in the city (could be a few miles!) and feel tired so I must put myself through training, haha.

Where should I post to just vent and such? On this newbie forum or elsewhere??
