    Hello!

    So, this is my 2nd time around with atkins, actually ending day 2! This time around I've made sure that I'm set up a little better and have a little better support system, reread the book--- so here goes nothing! Haha, mini-accomplishment today- I said no to b-day cake!

    Great start HoldItTogether! Saying no to birthday cake is a major achievement... and you know, it just gets easier as you go along!
    Also good news that you re-read the book. Always good to refresh our memories now and again.

      The same thing happened to me my first and second time...usually around the 4th or 5th day. I just gave in...but now i am on my 6th day and doing good!!! anyways, we are here for you!

      Start date: May 28th
      SW: 175 GW: 140 CHeight: 5'7 CHips: 42 CThighs: 25
      June 11th: goal =169 MET GOAL, JUNE 3RD (16
      June 25th: goal=165 MET GOAL JUNE 10TH!!
      July 2nd: goal=160
      July 16th: goal=155
      July 30th: goal=150
      August 13th: goal= 145 and 15 inches lost
      August 30th: PT test/Weigh in for the Naval Academy!!!
      Inches lost since May 28th: 2.5 Thighs, 1 hips, 2 waist

        I'll have to keep track of you HolditTogether!! We are starting again at the same time But - this is my 8 millionth time starting, not my 2nd

                wow- thanks for all the great responses!!! haha- i broke down today and bought a new scale--- hopefully seeing some new numbers in the next couple weeks!

                  Way to go HTG. Let us know how you are progressing. We seem to be on a similar time scale with simliar goals. Will keep poppin in to see all of your successes and to be inspired !!

                  Goal # 1 Reduce my waist enough so fitting into a pair of jeans will not make me feel like a sausage with a tight string cinched around my bulging waist.
                  Goal # 2 Have my thighs become less familiar with one another. I am tired of them rubbing up against each other when I walk.
                  Goal # 3 Be able to see my back without those flabby rolls under my bra line, you know I could store things in those roll creases, a book to read, small toy etc
                  Goal # 4 Run a 5k in Sept. and continue this WOE.

                    Hi there, I am sure that now you are better prepared for this WOE you will sail it, this is a greta place for support so join in the fun and post often. Good Luck this time around, although me thinks you won't need it.

                      Hellooooooo. Welcome to you. Good job on saying no to the birthday cake. Why do we feel so GUILTY when we do that? It's almost like we feel the need to apologise profusely just because we don't want to mess up our WOE. So well done you. That's not an easy one, but you DID IT!!! Great mini celebration!
