Hi everyone!
hope everyone is doing fantastic! This is a wonderful site. I frequent other sites, and will admit that I am so pleased that I have found this site. Do not get me wrong, I do enjoy the other sites as well, but when you are around other people that understand how important it is to follow the Atkins and truly understand that it is a better way of eating and getting healthy, it gives one a feel of "ahhhh I am home!"
Let me tell you about ME! I am a mother to six children five girls and one boy(he is the baby!) the oldest is 14,12,9,7,5,3 my oldest is my step-daughter and I love her just like my daughters she is cool! She is goofy and all in all I would love to keep her with me forever! But as everyone knows when you and your partner are not getting along it is time to move on....especially if it is getting abusive. So anyhow I have been on the yo-yo diet for ever! Ahhh forgot my age and name. I am 32, and I am Yvette it is a pleasure to meet ya'll today! and look forward to being on here for as long as I can.
I started the Atkins back in 2003 I lost 30lbs in 2 months and was so happy, I was so happy I got pregnant!-LOL See being thinner got me in trouble
!
So in having my little boy in 2004 I just let myself go... and now I am again well since 2006 I started counting calories first-oye that killed me! then I tried the whey protien shakes with eating whole grain/whole wheat organic products, eating like a bird diet. It did help some, but I was always hungry! Then I got down to 210! MAn that was the ultimate for me since when I started back in 2006 I was 237, so then I just thought in my head that I could go and eat whatever was in sight! and well since I started the Atkins again on I feel better and more alive. I give myself mini goals like every two weeks that I want to accomplish. So my first goal is to hit here on June 10 my goal was to hit 10lb lost. I started on May 28 so we will see, if not, hey I love the Atkins so I will keep on with this one!!!!!!
Always
