    The flu can bite you in the a**, but you'll feel better in a few days. Drinking water and eating a good breakfast seem to have helped me when I went through it. Just a few more days and you should be out of it.
    During this past week at work has been very difficult to get through...first someone had one of the biggest cakes I have ever seen in person here, 2 apple pies, tons of chips, sodas, cookies, lasagna...you name it. It has been "food day" (kind of like pot luck) around here almost every day for the past week. I did very well the first few days, then tonight, well I don't want to go there but I have to. I cut myself a piece of apple pie, took a few scrumptous and delicious bites, started feeling disgusted, logged on here (ADBB for encouragement) and threw the rest away. Now it sits in my trashcan in my cubicle, ehhhh. I don't want to look at it.
    If you have the will power like it sounds you do, its just a matter of time before you lose the 30 lbs before your birthday. Don't do what I did, try to cheat, it sucks!

      okay....so i've cheated....drank a pint of vodka, and a 24 oz of beer because I heard some bad news...then ate a "small" pack of peanuts...5g of carbs, 1g of sugar, and 170cal....also had sour cream on my chipotle steak bowl with black beans, lettue, tomato, and cheese....All of this over the weekend......way to go failure.


      However, I stepped on the scale...7 pounds down...met my goal of 7 pounds, so I am back on the wagon, and because I had a BAD 2 days over the weekend, I am extending induction 2 extra days....Come on guys scold me!
      I definitely need a good whipping. And not cool whip!

          Kelly - good for you for dusting yourself off and getting back on the horse! That's so important. Just remember why you are doing this and how great you will feel when you reach goal - and during the trip, too!

              Okay you guys...sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. So the weekend I completely flunked out. I got into an argument with my best friend and to make up we drank a pint of vodka Then yesterday, I had a grilled chicken salad from Mcdonald's because I failed to pack a lunch, and had their caesar dressing, and AFTER I ate it, I just happeded to look and see that it had 2 grams of sugar in each pack. So that was 4 grams of sugar. The good news is I am losing inches, I can tell from the way my clothes are fitting. Haven't tried the scale yet. Going to wait till next week for that since I am back on the wagon, and CHECKING EVERY FRIGGIN LABEL ....I got my ketosis sticks. I was in the light moderate, probably because of the alcohol. But I am determined. I am extending my induction until July 4th. That day, I will weigh in. If I've lost anymore weight, then I might have some coleslaw. Oh wait a minute. I CAN HAVE COLESLAW....This diet is great. Would love to hear from you guys

                Hi, I'm new also. I have been wondering what is a net carb ? I have been looking a some of the low carb bars and they say on them only 4 net carbs. I don't have a clue. Just need alittle help.
