Hi again, can anyone tell me if I can have a few vodkas on Induction...am supposed to be meeting some friends tonight for drinks and am unsure what effect this will have on industion
alcohol is not on induction, it has sugaralcohol content and you will not burn fat while your body has that to run off of, so it will probably kick you out of ketosis, personally I don't think its worth it to lose all that good ground. Your friends won't care if you have a diet 7-up or diet club soda you could be the dd . I am not sure exactly which rung alcohol is on , I think its aprox 7?, I am sure someone in here will know exactly. My friends don't care what I drink when I am with them, its the getting together thats fun.

Yes, it's definately best to eliminate alcohol completely when starting induction. It can also tempt you to eat something that you know you shouldn't!
Welcome to the board my friend. We hope to see you around. Don't be a stranger and stop and say hello sometimes!
Here are some other threads and links you may find help to get the wheel in motion. The intial step of moving that wheel is all you need, these links will keep to keep building up the momentum!
I've noticed that I can get away with a few hard liquor drinks with no mixer if I limit myself to a couple of strips of grilled chicken and follow my drinks with water.
gulp.
