OH! The Breath!

OK, brand new here. My 3 year old daughter is complaining that my mouth smells like rotton eggs! Does this taste in your mouth last as long as you are in ketosis? The sticks show I have been in ketosis for 4 days ! Down 5 pounds in 5 days so far. I went through the "flu" 2 nights ago and thought my head would explode, but it actually motivates me to stay with it so I don't have to go thru that again!! Anyway, any sugar-free breath suggestions would appreciated!

Oh, that awful keto breath! It's truly something, isn't it? Unfortunately, it does last. The good news is that you can lessen the severity of it by drinking lots of water! I drink 128oz a day and DH says that my keto breath is hardly noticeable now.

I suppose if you were in a social situtation where you needed to be up close and personal with someone, you could resort to sugarless gum. Just be sure and get one with as few carbs as possible and be aware that the sugar alcohols in them may hinder your weightloss.

Hey Keria! How funny that your three y/o knows you must be in ketosis! I agree w/ Emma, keep a sample size of mouthwash in your bag and use it when needed!

5 Lbs in 5 days is awesome! Keep up the great work.
