  • From Lurker To Poster...

    HI,

    I've been lurking and reading since I joined ADBB awhile ago, but this morning I decided to un-lurk myself!

    A little about me:

    I'm a stress eater, gained most of weight over the last 5 years. I "blame" it on a troubled marriage, which has been better for a long while now, but now I struggle with all of my "stress time" bad habits!

    I've been on Atkins before and love it! But like many others, went off for some stupid reason! Luckily, because I kept up on my exercise (love elliptical, weights, walking) I did not gain all of the weight back. But, I'm back on the woe now, day 6 of Induction and I'm feeling great!

    Weight stuff - my highest weight is really unknown, but knowing how much I weigh in some photos and comparing those photos to others when I was heavier I guess my all time high was 275+. I'm in the 250's now, I won't weigh again until my Induction is over. My goal is 175ish for now, that might change when I get closer to goal.

    That's it for now, so I'm off to do some reading.

    Complete Clean Induction
    Work more slowly moving up in OWL
    Weight goals:
    249 - mad it! sometime during the challenge!

    Welcome Carbette! And congratulations on jumping back on Atkins. Hopefully this time will be forever. That's what I keep telling myself. We all eat for different reasons or for any reason, the trick is to learn what to eat and how much for whatever reason.

      Welcome Carbette! Glad you decided to delurk and join us here at the board. The help here is great and since you like to exercise you might want to join a challenge or two.

        Welcome to you Carbette! Good news that you decided to de-lurk and join our happy family of Atkineers. Sounds like you're off to a great start.
