  • There's a hundred bucks riding on this!

    Hello everyone!

Just thought I'd stick my head round the door and introduce myself! I'm Gary, 24 from Essex in England. I'm about 265lbs and I'm going to be at 192lbs within a year with 6 pack abs or I lose a $100 bet with my cousin in Chicago! I'm sooooo determined to take that money off him when I go back in July 2008!

I started Induction yesterday, and I'm sticking to it to the letter so far. I feel pretty exhausted today but I know I'll be good in a couple of days when my body adjusts.

I decided to start a blog to keep track of what I'm eating, what exercise I'm getting and my thoughts and feelings about this in general. If anyone's interested it's at http://garwil.blogspot.com.

Anyway, I hope to be quite active on this forum because I'm pretty sure I'll need the support, so I look forward to speaking to you all!

    Take care,

    Gary

Dude! Someone I know lost 100 pounds in six months low-carbing and walking his asset off. You can definitely do this in a year's time...

Make sure you're eating your vegetables. It could be why you're tired. Check out this thread from our recent Veggie Challenge. It was a real learning experience even for ol time Atkineers! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ggie+challenge

Welcome and good luck, Gary. With the support here and your determination, I know you'll have that $100 in no time. You'll probably gain much more than that, though, if you hang around here.

That money's as good as yours, but if you think about it, if you missed it by one pound (you won't!) and had to cough up the cash, that'd be money well spent. Think of the thou$ands people are giving weight watchers to get practically nowhere and be hungry doing it....
