  • Greetings from Switzerland

    Hi,
my name is Salima, I'm 34, living in Switzerland and new to this forum.

I started with the Atkins Diet on Sunday, June 24th, 2007.

The first 4 days were tough, but now I feel much better, much more energetic, though I'm still struggling a bit with snacking. But I'm positive to balance that too.

    Greetings,
    Salima

Hi there - welcome to you. Yeah .. don't worry about the snacking - just make sure it's within what you can eat. Keep lotsa low carb stuff in the fridge so you can snack without guilt. After a while your appetite stabilises anyway, and you will find yourself snacking less. Enjoy Atkins --- it ROCKS!!! Lotsa luv to you.

Hello there Salima. Welcome to ADBB. Good to have you aboard.
You can snack on Atkins whenever you're hungry, so it pays to always have something induction legal with you, so you don't get caught out.

          Happy Atkineering!

            Hi Salima! Welcome!
Plan, Plan, Plan, and then plan! It's much harder in the beginning! It does get easier. Keep it up and scope out the recipes, etc... I am so happy I started logging onto this site, I know I would not have been as successful without it. Will be here for a long long time... scope out the exersize challenges. Some new ones will be starting for July!

Hi Salima! Welcome to the board. You can completely have snacks! Have you tried to take some pepperoni and put it on a paper plate and microwave it for a minute or two? Delicious! You can do the same thing with slices of cheese and they will get all crispy! Read around the board for other snack ideas, it is best to have plenty of food on hand to grab and go!
