    Hello, I am new, I am here, I am taking my life back.

    I started induction on 7/16/07 and have lost 8 pounds as of this morning.

    I have been looking for a support system for Atkins for a couple of weeks. I was very happy to find this board. I look forwrad to posting with you all.

    WELCOME IM NEW HERE TOO! HAVE A NICE DAY AND CONGRATS!

    My goal:
    I started Atkins: May 29th
    Breast: 90-90-90cm
    Waist: 78-72-66cm
    Hips: 94-87-87cm
    Body type:5' 2" inches (159cm)
    I dont think I want to lose more weight, just complete correctly the phases. I LOVE ATKINS!

                  8 lbs in 3days .. wow that IS going some congrats and keep on keeping on!
                  Start weight 233 lbs .. 16 st 9 lbs ..105.8 kg (eek!!)
                  .... looking to lose at least 2 stone .. (28 lbs .. for the Americans )

                      Good morning to all! I had the best night's sleep I have had in ages last night. I have read on this board that deep sleep and less need for sleep are part of the path I have chosen to walk with Atkins. Well all I can say about that is, AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I guess that kind of makes up for the icky taste in my mouth...

                      If anyone has any more revelations of what I might expect over the next week and a half I have left in induction, I would love to hear them!

                        What to expect in induction? Errmmmm, well.... ummm....

                        Getting to know all the public loos (toilets) in your town
                        That delightful (?!) Atkins taste/breath!
                        Growing addiction to the ADBB
                        Learning a new way of speech and introducing stuff like: "Weigh to go" and "it's just PISS" (Post Induction Stall Syndrome) into your vocab
                        Getting a rush from peeing on a stick
                        Fantasizing about your weekly weigh-in instead of.... yeah, well whatever you fantasize about, usually ...

                        Anyone got any more?

                        Seriously though... after induction flu (if you're unlucky enough to have a bout): Energy, energy and more energy, plus the start of Atkins appetite suppression; reduction of cravings as your body is weaned from sugar... Lots of good stuff!

                          Great handle, by the way... I just wanted to say hello, introduce myself, and offer all the encouragement I can muster. There is an enormous advantage to reaching your goals when you know you have a safety net and a pool of ongoing support to draw from when you need it most. So, consider me one of your cheering squad. You are succeeding admirably, and my wish for you is to keep up the hard work. Take care!
