Karen, welcome to the board! So I take it you've read the book and know the rules of induction? Have fun marketing, take your time and read labels too! I'm sorry but I don't know what 14 stone 3 is. Whatever it is, hang around the board frequently and you will lose weight!

Look all around the board and read as much as you can. There's so many warm, friendly and knowledgeable people around here who are all willing to assist you any way they can!

        Re: hi everyone

Welcome, Karen. Are you stocked up and ready for day 1 on Monday?

I think 1 stone equals 14 pounds, if I'm remembering correctly from our Brit friends around here... so, (14x14)+3 would be your weight in pounds.

Have you read/gotten the book, Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution? If not, I highly recommend it. It's vital to understanding the hows and whys of this way of eating.

        Best of luck to you!

welcome Karen! Here in Australia we work in kilos ! altough it used to be in stones -- but i can t remember how they work -- it was a long time since we had them! you can find a conversion tool online somewhere to work out the equivelent in pounds etc. Goodluck with your new Journey

Hi Karen, and welcome! Good luck on your first day. Hope you had fun over the weekend--I know the day before I started induction was a carb free-for-all Cheers!
