  • Hi Y'all

Just wanted to introduce myself, I found this board months ago and it has been a Godsend. I have been lurking around and enjoying the recipes and advice to others. I started Atkins Jan.2, 2007 weighing in at a whopping 238lbs. I was miserable. I currently weigh 201lbs. that's the smallest I've been in forever. I have gone from size 22/24 to 16/18. For those just starting this really works. I am 48 years old, mother of 2, grandmother of 2 precious little girls. Which I keep everyday so my time to browse is limited they are 2 years old and 3 months old needless to say they keep me hoppin. I have tried every diet out there spent more money than I care to think about on products. But I got to the point something had to give. I bought the Book and was excited to see all that I could eat. Something clicked this time I realized if I kept doing what I had been doing I was going to keep gettin the same results. It is very clear to me now that I will never be able to return I am very carb sensitive. I do know that "just one bite" will hurt and it's not worth it. I'm glad I found you and I'm glad to be on board.

Thought I'd check in while I had both kids down for a nap at the same time. That's a miracle in it's self. Thank you for the comments and support. To answer Sally's question, yes I run/walk 2 miles first thing every morning before the kids get here weather permitting. If not I have plenty of work videos and also us weights.
