  • Glad to be back

Im a second timer and first time around I got to goal,,,,
One solitary christmas is all it took to knobble me,, and 3yrs later im back again. Fortunately not having gained it all back, but ive got 50+ to lose.

I live in the UK, im 42 and since I was last here, I have been back to College and am now a qualified teacher. I teach Computing to 16-19yr olds.

It might Sound strange, but im actually relieved to be returning to Atkins and a low-carb lifestyle, I know it works and its not a fad diet that will leave me starving.

Welcome back, I remember you from a long long time ago.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Hi bambina! I love your avatar! I'm glad you're back! Atkins is rather like a security blanket. We know it works, it's good healthy eating and we feel good while eating this way. You did it before, you will do it again. I'll look forward to seeing your around the board!

Welcome back Bambina... and that's what's important: That you are back and ready to re-commit. Terrific! Your name is familiar to me too.

Just love Silly's analogy about Atkins being like a safety blanket. She's so right, isn't she?

Looking forward to following your progress back to goal!

Hi everyone,,, thanks for the welcome ... I knew you would still be here Richt !!!

I think my whole family are relieved ive decided to come back to Atkins,,, ive been getting progressively more grumpy im sure.

I think the fact that I haven't run any races this year is what finally kicked me back into gear, I really would like to have a go at the London Marathon sometime and there is no hope of me doing that at the moment, my knees sound like castanetes!!
