  • Hi

Well what can I say I am here. I have a long history of yo yo dieting and have decided to give Atkins another shot but I intend to completely follow the book. I have never done it by the book but rather mixed it up with South Beach.... It never works! I fall off the wagon and stay off for longer periods of time. I made it through the first day of induction and was pleased to have found such an awesome message board. This style is great and it seems to have a great following. I hope to stay here and have this become part of my daily support system.

    Thanks,

    Julie

    Re: Hi

Hey alaskagirl! You said it! You need to completely follow the book! If you do, you will learn to eat better, learn what a portion actually is, and learn that you will be able to eat from every food group, eventually.

Congrats on your first day of induction down!

                Thanks for the warm welcome.

Discolemonade- I drive to Palmer/Wasilla every week throughout the summer. It is beautiful there. I live in Anchorage but I am on Oregonian at heart.
