Hi all-- I am a second time around-er having lost 25 lbs. in 2002. I know one of my main problems was that I was afraid to let myself go off induction and did not move through the phases correctly. Consequently, I went back to old habits. So that is my main goal this time; to make this a WOL b/c it is the ONLY thing that works for me.
I am 37; married 9 years; two kids ages 4 and 5. I am a stay-at-home mom and I finally joined a gym this year so I've been enjoying taking classes and working out. I also have hypothyroid and want to post a recent experience with a doctor (who suggested I only eat 800 calories a day in order to lose weight), but I'll do that over on the thyroid forum.
I really enjoy reading everyone's posts, especially the recipes. New recipes are going to be key to me succeeding for a lifetime. I'm on day 10 of re-Induction and am down 8 lbs.--even a better loss than my first time on Induction! Looking forward to meeting some friends!

Even more congrats for deciding to make this a way of life rather than a diet. That's the path to permanent success.
